Lord Mayor of Westminster

The Lord Mayor of Westminster is ex officio Deputy High Steward of Westminster Abbey.

The current Lord Mayor is Councillor Jonathan Glanz, a qualified solicitor who now runs his own property company. He was first elected to Westminster City Council in 2009 to represent West End ward and has served in the Cabinet of the council as chairman of the Audit and Performance, and Policy and Scrutiny committees.

His chosen charity during his mayoral year is Centrepoint which supports homeless young adults across the country.
