Princess Anne, daughter of Queen Elizabeth II

Princess Anne, now The Princess Royal, is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She was born at Clarence House in London on 15th August 1950.

Marriage

On 14th November 1973 Princess Anne was married to Captain Mark Phillips in Westminster Abbey. The couple have two children, Zara and Peter, and later divorced. The Princess was appointed Princess Royal and married secondly Commander (now Rear Admiral) Timothy Laurence. She is patron of many charities.
